Envisioning an unrivaled hospitality destination within existing, landmarked masonry walls, this ambitious new construction project is one of the more unique design challenges we’ve tackled in Boulder. Upon entry, guests are transported into an opulent urban oasis, outfitted with rich fabrics, brass accents and a curving plush booth that traces the perimeter of the restaurant space. Of particular note, installing a central skylight over the 360-degree bar flooded this previously enclosed space with natural light, bringing warmth and balance to the luxurious decor—while also creating an outdoor patio and courtyard for the upstairs office space. After hours, an impressive LED screen and high-end audio system also provide a kinetic backdrop for live DJ sessions and special events.
