Inspired by vintage suitcase and motor lodge vibes, this classic American cocktail lounge was envisioned as a complement to the adjacent Post Chicken & Beer restaurant. Serving up “quick bites and long drinks”—with an incredible venue space in the back for live music and events—we brought high-impact, funky aesthetic to every detail of this design. Creating a sense of “happy congestion” throughout the tight footprint was of primary importance, requiring a keen sense of ergonomics alongside a whimsical selection of on-brand tchotchkes. This “rumpus room” aesthetic was then anchored by a rich palette of green vinyl booths, wood paneling, mosaic tile floors, retro bar stools and quirky lighting.
