The Mailroom
This stunning example of civic architecture sat abandoned for several years. Upon purchase of the property by the new owners, careful planning and development of this masonry and early reinforced concrete structure resulted in a revitalized landmark that is now home to a bustling restaurant concept. With very little surviving assets and virtually no original interior photographs available, the project team was granted more flexibility with regard to interior finishes while still satisfying federal and state guidelines.
